Building Surveyor – Hybrid (Huddersfield)

About the role

We are seeking a Building Surveyor to join a growing multi‑disciplinary consultancy on a major long‑term social housing framework. The role is highly autonomous, allowing you to split your time between home, office and sites across Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver building surveying services for new‑build and refurbishment social housing projects.
• Manage client relationships from initial surveys through to project completion.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance with RICS standards.
• Provide on‑site inspections and produce detailed survey reports.

Required profile

• RICS‑accredited construction or surveying degree.
• Experience in residential refurbishment or public‑sector projects.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Building surveying techniques.
• Knowledge of RICS standards and chartership pathway.
