Building Surveyor – £45,000-£55,000, Hybrid, Private Healthcare

About the role

Join a well‑established chartered surveying practice serving the public sector across London and the South East. The role offers a hybrid working model, private healthcare and strong support for progressing your APC towards chartership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit planning and Building Regulations applications.
• Produce specifications, tender documentation and analyse tender responses.
• Assist with contract administration under JCT and other contract forms.
• Support project management, defect diagnosis and building inspections.
• Deliver technical reports and contribute to contract administration and project delivery on site and in the office.

Required profile

• Previous experience in building surveying, preferably within residential, social housing, education or other public‑sector projects.
• Exposure to contract administration and project management.
• Motivation to achieve APC support and become a Chartered Building Surveyor.

Required skills

• Contract administration (JCT and other forms).
• Planning and Building Regulations applications.
• Specification writing and tender documentation.
• Project management and defect diagnosis.
• Building inspections and technical reporting.
