Buildings and Facilities Supervisor (Temporary)

About the role

We are seeking a Buildings and Facilities Supervisor to oversee the day‑to‑day operation of a school campus in Hillingdon. This temporary position will ensure that the premises are safe, clean and fully functional, supporting a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of all buildings and facilities.
• Conduct regular safety and compliance inspections.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair work with external contractors and service providers.
• Lead a small team of facilities staff, providing guidance and support.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the site.
• Work closely with school staff to address facilities‑related requests.
• Assist in planning and executing school events and activities.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and facility usage.

Required profile

• Previous experience in facilities management, preferably within an educational setting.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Positive attitude and sense of humour.
