Bursar – School Business Manager

About the role

We are recruiting a Bursar to join the school business management team in Burnley. The role supports the financial and administrative functions of the school, working closely with staff, children and external partners.

Key responsibilities

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills with accurate spelling and grammar
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Recent experience working in a school office or similar setting
• Experience using school administrative and financial systems, such as SIMS
• Commitment to professional development and learning
• Hardworking, flexible and able to use initiative
• Ability to develop good relationships with children and adults
• Commitment to safeguarding
• Availability on a part‑time or full‑time basis and ability to travel locally
