Business Account Manager – Discounters

About the role

As a Business Account Manager you will be the commercial lead for the Discount Retailers channel at KP Snacks, responsible for a portfolio worth over £15 million. You will build insight‑driven relationships, develop joint business plans and align account strategies with the wider commercial priorities of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Own full commercial accountability for a £15 m+ account portfolio, including forecasting, pricing, trade investment and margin delivery.
• Lead Joint Business Planning and nurture senior‑level partnerships at head‑office level.
• Develop and execute clear account strategies covering promotions, distribution growth, range reviews and new product launches.
• Use shopper, category, EPOS and commercial insight to identify growth opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Category, Finance, Shopper Activation, Supply Chain and other internal teams to ensure flawless market execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale commercial accounts within the retail or FMCG sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable growth plans.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence internal teams to deliver joint objectives.
