Business Advisory Manager

About the role

Ambition Europe Limited is seeking an experienced Business Advisory Manager to join its specialist advisory team in Salford. You will work closely with distressed and under‑performing businesses, helping owners and directors navigate HMRC engagements, cash‑flow challenges and broader financial restructuring.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate with HMRC on VAT, PAYE and National Insurance arrears.
• Develop and manage repayment plans, cash‑flow models and business reviews.
• Collaborate with internal restructuring, funding, legal and business services teams on complex assignments.
• Introduce clients to asset‑based lenders and funders.
• Support cash‑management and interim management advisory projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business advisory, restructuring or turnaround services.
• Strong ability to prepare cash‑flow forecasts, profit & loss statements and financial models.
• Confidence dealing directly with business owners, directors and HMRC.
• Commercial mindset with excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple cases independently and as part of a team.
