Business Analyst & Data Insights Specialist

About the role

Ripon Farm Services is building a Group‑wide Business Intelligence capability to support its transformation agenda. Reporting to the CFO, you will design and embed data‑led decision making across the agricultural and ground‑care divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver the Group’s data and analytics strategy aligned to business priorities.
• Build and scale a Business Intelligence function, including governance, tooling and team capability.
• Design and deliver dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Own data architecture, governance and integrity across the Group.
• Identify and deliver automation opportunities across reporting and operational processes.
• Work with platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Alteryx or similar.
• Engage with stakeholders across the business to embed data‑led decision making.

Required profile

• Experience in a senior BI, data or analytics role.
• Proven track record of scaling or establishing a BI or data function.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into insight.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Power BI capability.
• Experience with modern analytics platforms such as Microsoft Fabric or Alteryx.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform.
• Ability to work with complex datasets and data models.
