Business Analyst – eDV Cleared (Hybrid, £70-85k)

About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst with an active eDV clearance to join our team in Cheltenham on a hybrid basis. You will work closely with delivery teams and product owners to translate complex government‑focused business problems into clear, actionable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and articulate business problems and shape solution approaches.
• Engage stakeholders, capture user needs and convert them into well‑written user stories.
• Support delivery teams with prioritisation, MVP definition and scope management.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to create and maintain the product backlog.
• Assist testing activities to ensure solutions meet both user and business requirements.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Lean and Kanban.
• Proven stakeholder management and customer‑facing delivery experience.
• Demonstrated ability to write user stories, acceptance criteria and detailed requirements.
• Experience working in cross‑functional teams.
• Understanding of government transformation strategy and service standards (desirable).
• Experience with API and data‑mapping activities.
