Business Analyst – Global POS Transformation (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a high‑calibre Business Analyst to lead a critical workstream within a Global Legacy Transformation programme for a leading luxury beauty and retail brand. The role bridges international retail operations and IT, driving the rollout of a next‑generation Point of Sale (POS) solution across the global estate.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation sessions with stakeholders across multiple regions.
• Produce high‑quality artefacts such as Epics, User Stories, and detailed As‑Is/To‑Be process maps.
• Analyse existing retail workflows to identify efficiencies and add measurable value.
• Facilitate workshops to align regional needs with a centralised global template.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure seamless POS integration with SAP back‑end systems.
• Define acceptance criteria and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across territories.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in large‑scale retail transformations.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across different time zones.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach to problem‑solving.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Point of Sale (POS) systems knowledge
• SAP integration experience (highly desirable)
• Agile delivery methodologies
• JIRA and Confluence for backlog management
• Advanced process‑mapping capabilities
