Business Analyst – Hybrid – Edinburgh

About the role

We are seeking Business Analysts to join a fast‑growing Edinburgh‑based technology consultancy. The role involves working closely with clients to understand their challenges, translate them into clear requirements and support agile delivery of cloud‑focused solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with current and prospective clients to capture business challenges, processes and requirements.
• Facilitate requirements‑gathering workshops and produce detailed documentation, acceptance criteria and testable goals.
• Support agile project delivery through backlog management, refinement and close collaboration with architects, developers and delivery teams.
• Create process flows, workflow diagrams, use cases and sequence diagrams to illustrate logical solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting the full software development lifecycle, preferably in cloud‑based or software delivery environments.
• Strong ability to elicit, document and refine requirements and translate business needs into clear acceptance criteria.
• Comfortable working directly with clients and stakeholders, with prior consultancy experience highly desirable.
• Familiarity with agile delivery practices such as Kanban, Scrum and backlog refinement.
