Business Analyst

About the role

This role provides dedicated business analysis support across strategic and operational change initiatives within Polo Works, focusing on data, systems and process improvement. The Business Analyst will collaborate with business users, delivery teams and technology partners to translate needs into clear requirements and support delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and document business requirements, processes and data needs for change initiatives.
• Analyse and map data flows between core systems and reporting tools.
• Produce specifications, user stories, business cases and process maps.
• Develop data dictionaries, lineage documentation and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood, developed and tested.
• Support test planning, execution and user acceptance testing.
• Identify optimisation, automation and efficiency opportunities.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and requirements workshops.
• Assist in evaluating and onboarding new vendors or technology solutions.
• Work with project managers to track progress, risks, issues and dependencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in insurance or financial services, delivering change via Agile and Waterfall.
• Strong analytical ability to document requirements, processes and data logic.
• Understanding of data structures and experience on data/reporting initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑changing environment with multiple concurrent projects.
