Business Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join CMC Markets’ fast‑growing BA team in London. You will help design and deliver new features that improve the client onboarding journey across multiple regions and platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with senior stakeholders to analyse and define strategic projects, creating high‑quality user stories and technical specifications.
• Manage and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring changes are assessed for impact on the onboarding journey.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to deliver solutions, supporting acceptance testing and system enhancements.
• Conduct impact analysis of requirement changes on operations, users and integrated systems.
• Generate and monitor performance reports that track the effect of changes on client journeys.

Required profile

• Proven Business Analyst experience within financial services, delivering complex technical solutions.
• Strong communicator able to work with stakeholders at all levels and development teams.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to drive projects to successful completion.

Required skills

• Proficiency with wire‑framing and prototyping tools such as Miro and Figma.
• Experience using collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams.
• Understanding of XML and JSON data formats.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Agile practices including backlog management, story refinement and sprint planning.
