Business Analyst

About the role

Paddle is a Merchant of Record helping digital product companies simplify payments. As a Business Analyst you will turn complex financial data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth, pricing strategy and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate pricing initiatives and commercial strategies, model scenarios to optimize revenue and measure impact.
• Analyze customer profitability, margins and cost of sales to identify efficiency and growth opportunities.
• Perform deep data analysis to uncover trends and translate findings into clear recommendations.
• Partner with Data Engineering to define requirements and build robust data models for financial reporting.
• Build and maintain BI dashboards and visualisations to keep critical metrics visible and actionable.
• Collaborate with Finance, Product, Go‑to‑Market and Operations teams to turn insights into actions and track long‑term impact.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data or business analysis, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to break down complex commercial models.
• Creative problem‑solver who thrives on ambiguous data challenges.
• Effective communicator able to present insights clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented, resilient and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
