Business Analyst – Public Sector Transformation (Hybrid)

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term Business Analyst position supports a large public‑sector organisation in delivering two high‑profile transformation programmes. Working in a hybrid model, you will help shape the future direction of the organisation by improving operational training and contributing to broader organisational redesign.

Key responsibilities

• Support a major operational training improvement programme, reviewing current delivery and identifying process enhancements.
• Design more effective ways of working and translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
• Collaborate with operational teams, senior stakeholders and project managers to ensure alignment with transformation goals.
• Assist a wider organisational design and transformation programme, contributing to operating model improvements.
• Document requirements, produce analysis artefacts and support change implementation.

Required profile

• Strong Business Analysis experience, preferably within the public sector (not essential).
• Experience supporting change, transformation, organisational design, process improvement or Lean initiatives.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders, challenge existing ways of working and translate business needs.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
