About the role
HSBC is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Skills & Transformation programme in London. The role will support the Process & Experience workstream of a major skills‑based transformation centred on the deployment of SAP SuccessFactors Talent Intelligence Hub and Career & Talent Development capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Define, validate and document business requirements across end‑to‑end skills and talent processes.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and structured documentation.
- Design future‑state, skills‑based processes and create end‑to‑end journey maps for employees, managers and leaders.
- Identify pain points and improvement opportunities in current‑state processes.
- Collaborate with technology teams and implementation partners to clarify requirements, validate solutions and ensure alignment with business intent.
- Support agile delivery by refining backlogs, preparing requirements for sprints and participating in sprint ceremonies.
- Define test scenarios, support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate delivered functionality.
- Facilitate workshops, capture stakeholder feedback and ensure it is reflected in designs.
- Support definition of skills taxonomy, inference, validation and data usage in talent processes.
Required profile
- Proven experience in business analysis within HR or talent transformation projects.
- Strong background in process design, journey mapping and user‑centred experience.
- Hands‑on experience with agile or iterative delivery methodologies.
- Ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including technology teams and business leaders.
- Experience in defining and testing requirements (SIT/UAT) for large‑scale HR systems.
