Business Architect – Financial Services (Hybrid, £500/day)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Architect to join a 6‑month contract (with possible extension) supporting a key financial services client on regulatory and transformation initiatives. The role is inside IR35, paid at £500 per day, and operates on a hybrid model with 1‑2 days on‑site in Stratford.

Key responsibilities

• Support and deliver financial services and regulatory transformation projects.
• Design Target Operating Models for large‑scale programmes.
• Conduct Architecture Impact Assessments and oversee governance activities.
• Facilitate workshops to achieve consensus and drive business outcomes.
• Collaborate with senior business and technology stakeholders to align architecture with strategic goals.

Required profile

• Proven Business Architect experience within complex, highly regulated organisations.
• Strong background in financial services transformation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Professional certifications such as BCS, CBA or equivalent are preferred.
