Business Change Manager - AI and SharePoint

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Change Manager with strong AI and SharePoint expertise to support a major transformation programme for the Metropolitan Police. The six‑month contract will help deliver new technology, process improvements and cultural change across HR, Finance, Commercial and Resource Management for more than 45,000 officers and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute change management and communications plans for a complex, multi‑discipline programme.
• Conduct Change Impact Assessments and Business Readiness activities.
• Build and manage Change Networks and stakeholder‑engagement initiatives.
• Leverage AI, SharePoint, video and e‑learning tools to engage large, diverse user groups.
• Manage relationships with senior and change‑resistant stakeholders.
• Support programme reporting, milestone tracking, risk, issue and dependency management.
• Deputise for leadership when required and provide hands‑on support.

Required profile

• Significant experience delivering business change in large‑scale transformation programmes.
• Proven ability to drive cultural change across dispersed workforces and manage resistance.
• Excellent communication, storytelling and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Experience delivering Change Networks, training, impact assessments and business readiness.
• Comfort operating strategically while remaining hands‑on.
• Experience working across multiple locations and complex environments, preferably in the public or policing sector.
