Business Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Developer to join our growing team in Robertsbridge. You will play a pivotal role in generating new opportunities and supporting major UK construction and development projects while enjoying a balanced work‑life environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and contact prospective clients via phone, email, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Make a high volume of outbound calls each day to generate qualified meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, architects and key decision‑makers.
• Book targeted one‑to‑one meetings with design, technical and supply‑chain stakeholders.
• Follow up marketing‑generated enquiries and convert interest into opportunities.
• Support client events, manage attendance and conduct post‑event follow‑ups.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, prospect activity and pipeline updates.
• Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to maximise growth.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in business development, sales, account management or a similar commercial role.
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and proactive outreach.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.

Required skills

• CRM (experience with maintaining accurate records and pipeline management).
