Business Development Account Manager (Platform)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Account Manager (Platform) to join our Wealth Distribution team. Based remotely in Edinburgh, you will help grow the Scottish Widows platform by strengthening relationships with financial advisers and intermediary firms, and driving new business across our savings and investment propositions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with financial advisers and intermediary firms across the region.
• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities for the Wealth and Platform propositions.
• Provide consultative support using data and market insight to help advisers meet client needs.
• Represent Scottish Widows at meetings, seminars, conferences and adviser events.
• Collaborate with internal product, compliance and operations teams to enhance the adviser experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales within the financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of pensions, investments and relevant regulations.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
