Business Development and Commercial Lead

About the role

Innovair is seeking a driven Business Development and Commercial Lead to own and shape its commercial function. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for expanding the company’s footprint in the UK and internationally, working with cutting‑edge robotic inspection and asset integrity solutions for the energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across target markets.
• Build and nurture strategic client relationships, turning prospects into long‑term partners.
• Lead the full sales cycle from initial engagement to contract award.
• Collaborate with technical experts to translate client needs into tailored solutions.
• Support marketing initiatives and contribute to commercial strategy and decision‑making.
• Establish and scale a sales function that can sustain both UK and international growth.

Required profile

• Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within technology or industrial sectors.
• Strong hunter mentality combined with the ability to nurture key accounts.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑starter with the autonomy to develop new markets and drive commercial success.

Required skills

• Experience selling complex technical solutions (e.g., robotics, inspection systems).
• Ability to work closely with technical teams to shape proposals.
