Business Development & Client Development Manager – Litigation

About the role

This position offers an experienced Business Development professional the chance to shape and drive growth for a leading international law firm’s Litigation practice. Working closely with partners and senior stakeholders, you will lead strategic client development initiatives, marketing campaigns and key account programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute business development and marketing campaigns aligned with the practice’s strategic priorities.
• Lead legal directory submissions, award entries, sponsorships and other profile‑raising activities.
• Manage pitches, proposals and client presentations in collaboration with partners and bid specialists.
• Plan and deliver client events, thought‑leadership sessions and marketing collateral.
• Develop and govern key client programmes, including account planning, reporting and governance.
• Use market research, financial data and client insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Champion the use of CRM systems, AI tools and best‑practice processes to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, client development or marketing within a professional services environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated project‑management capability handling pitches, campaigns and events.
• Data‑driven commercial mindset, able to translate insight into actionable plans.
• Collaborative attitude with enthusiasm for innovation and digital tools.
• Experience supporting a Litigation practice is advantageous.

Required skills
