Business Development Coordinator – Private Investment Funds

About the role

Proskauer is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to support its Private Investment Funds (PIF) practice. The role will help drive client engagement, increase market visibility, and contribute to the practice’s growth through coordinated BD initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare presentations, proposals, and capability materials for client pitches and RFPs, tracking activity in Foundation and related databases.
• Identify cross‑marketing opportunities with BD colleagues and maintain group marketing collateral, credentials, and trackers.
• Coordinate legal directory and awards submissions, gathering inputs from lawyers and stakeholders.
• Conduct client, prospect, industry, and market research to spot trends and opportunities across PIF sub‑practices.
• Act as liaison with Events, Communications, Competitive Intelligence, Marketing Technology, and Creative teams to plan and execute client events, sponsorships, and campaigns.
• Use InterAction, Foundation, and other tools to extract client intelligence for pitches and event planning.
• Track sponsorships, memberships, and partner engagement to maximize ROI and maintain the PIF events calendar.
• Draft internal communications, meeting notes, and follow‑up actions for BD initiatives.
• Assist with budgets, reporting, and post‑matter/event follow‑up activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, marketing, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with InterAction.
• Experience using Foundation database.
