Business Development Executive – 4‑day week

About the role

We are seeking a confident Business Development Executive to join a growing organisation in Gloucester. You will be responsible for generating new partnerships and guiding prospects through the full sales cycle, from first contact to onboarding. The role offers a supportive team environment and a four‑day working week.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective business partners across the UK.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Conduct sales conversations via telephone and email.
• Manage opportunities through the complete sales cycle.
• Support clients during the onboarding process.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Contribute to the overall growth and success of the business.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, business development, account management or a customer‑focused commercial role.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Motivated, driven and eager to develop a sales career.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in retail finance or point‑of‑sale finance is advantageous but not essential.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
