Business Development Executive – ICT & Managed Print Solutions

About the role

Our client in Reading is looking for a driven Business Development Executive to generate new revenue across ICT, Content Services and Managed Print Solutions. This hunter‑type position focuses on prospecting, winning new logos and expanding existing accounts in commercial, corporate and public‑sector markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and win new business, consistently exceeding sales targets.
• Build and manage a pipeline from initial outreach through to close using cold outreach, networking and referrals.
• Engage key decision‑makers in target accounts and develop relationships from scratch.
• Own the full sales cycle – qualification, solution presentation, negotiation and closing.
• Maintain accurate CRM records to monitor pipeline health and activity.
• Grow existing accounts alongside new‑business efforts.

Required profile

• Proven new‑business sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Confident, proactive prospector comfortable with cold outreach and building pipelines from zero.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and target‑driven, thriving on winning new business.
