About the role

Our client, a specialist lead‑generation firm based near Eastbourne, is seeking a Business Development Lead to manage a UK‑wide outreach desk and lead a high‑performing sales team. This is a genuine leadership position that combines hands‑on prospecting with people‑development responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Run the day‑to‑day operations of the UK outreach team, ensuring consistent performance and quality.
• Coach, mentor and develop individual team members to raise overall effectiveness.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and generate qualified leads for the business.
• Monitor and report on sales metrics, adjusting tactics to meet targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients across London and the wider UK.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales operations, preferably in a leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage high‑performing sales teams.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Self‑motivated with a results‑driven mindset.
• Willingness to travel locally and work on‑site in Eastbourne.
