Business Development Manager – Birmingham (Hybrid)

About the role

We are supporting a leading UK training and apprenticeship provider that partners with employers to deliver high‑impact programmes in digital, leadership and professional skills. As a Business Development Manager based in Birmingham, you will drive new client acquisition across Yorkshire and beyond, working in a hybrid model (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage your own sales pipeline to secure new business.
• Identify, approach and build relationships with senior decision‑makers in target organisations.
• Close new contracts and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and forecast sales performance.

Required profile

• Proven track record in B2B sales or business development.
• Strong experience in self‑generated, new‑business sales.
• Hungry, resilient and target‑driven mindset.
• Comfortable communicating with senior decision‑makers.
• Experience in apprenticeships, training, recruitment or consultative sales is a plus.
