Business Development Manager – Bridging Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in our bridging finance division in Warrington. You will generate new lending opportunities by building and nurturing relationships with brokers, introducers and other finance professionals, working closely with our Head of Sales, underwriting and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, structure and convert new lending opportunities across our product range.
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of active broker and introducer relationships.
• Conduct regular broker meetings, presentations and relationship reviews.
• Build a sustainable pipeline and achieve agreed business development targets.
• Collaborate with underwriters to progress transactions efficiently from enquiry to completion.
• Represent the company at industry events and networking functions to raise brand awareness.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends, providing feedback for product development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the bridging finance market.
• Established network of mortgage and specialist finance brokers.
• Strong understanding of underwriting criteria and risk appetite.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of bridging finance products and lending processes.
• Ability to assess and structure loan proposals.
• Familiarity with broker relationship management.
