Business Development Manager – Commercial Cleaning & FM

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive new business and strengthen client relationships across London and the South East. This role is ideal for a proven sales professional with experience in commercial cleaning or facilities management who enjoys prospecting, closing deals, and managing the full sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate your own sales opportunities and activate leads from the CRM database.
  • Book qualified appointments with potential clients and convert leads into new contracts.
  • Conduct site visits, carry out surveys, and provide accurate quotes.
  • Handle objections, negotiate pricing, and ensure smooth handovers to operations.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation.

Required profile

  • Proven experience selling services in the cleaning industry or a similar facilities management environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of winning new business and managing high‑value sales conversations.
  • Excellent communication skills, self‑motivation, and a full UK driving licence.
