Business Development Manager – Construction Software Solutions

About the role

We are RIB, part of AVEVA, delivering end‑to‑end lifecycle software for the engineering and construction industry. As a Business Development Manager based in London you will drive new‑business growth across the UK and Ireland construction market, building a pipeline of enterprise and mid‑market customers for our CostX Complete solution.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction sector.
• Sell the RIB CostX Complete solution to enterprise and mid‑market clients.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline through prospecting, networking and targeted outreach.
• Establish relationships with C‑suite executives and key stakeholders.
• Lead presentations, solution demos and commercial discussions, articulating ROI and business value.
• Create and execute strategic account and territory plans.
• Negotiate, close and expand software agreements, including cross‑selling.
• Achieve and exceed revenue and sales targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience selling enterprise software or SaaS solutions.
• Proven track record of winning new business and meeting sales targets.
• Strong prospecting, lead generation and account‑management capabilities.
• Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills.
• Highly motivated, self‑driven and results‑oriented.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland.
