Business Development Manager – Data Centres

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales of mechanical fittings and fire‑protection solutions within the data‑centre market across London and the Home Counties. The role focuses on generating new business and building relationships with IT and data‑centre consultants and major colocation providers.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a comprehensive portfolio of high‑quality pipe joinings, couplings, fittings, flow‑control and fire‑protection products to data‑centre clients.
• Identify and engage new opportunities with IT consultants, data‑centre consultants and colocation operators such as Google, Oracle and Meta.
• Manage the sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and delivery.
• Maintain and expand a network of contacts within the data‑centre ecosystem.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure product specifications meet client requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling into the data‑centre sector.
• Existing contacts with IT consultants, data‑centre consultants or major colocation providers.
• Ability to understand and communicate technical product specifications.
• Self‑motivated with a strong focus on new‑business generation.
