Business Development Manager – Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join a leading financial services lender. Working remotely within the Manchester, Wigan or Bolton area, you will drive growth by prospecting new businesses and expanding existing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Self‑generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline of potential lenders.
• Schedule and conduct weekly sales meetings with prospective clients.
• Identify, develop and maintain relationships with clients, brokers and accountants.
• Respond promptly to enquiries and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Effectively manage and diarise the sales pipeline, following up on outstanding enquiries and accounts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Business Development role within financial services or a similar sector.
• Demonstrated ability to self‑generate leads and secure appointments.
• Track record of winning new B2B business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong numeracy skills.
• Highly motivated to exceed sales targets.

• Base salary of £46,000 per year.
