Business Development Manager – Financial Services

About the role

Reed Insurance is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to expand its network of introducers, brokers, and bank partners. You will be responsible for driving new‑business revenue while representing the company with professionalism and integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the organisation ethically at all times.
• Achieve and exceed new‑business revenue targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, introducers and bank partners.
• Manage and convert leads supplied by Market Management and generate additional leads through self‑prospecting.
• Maintain a local CRM database and provide feedback on lead quality.
• Collaborate with core functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Produce accurate management information and regular reports.

Required profile

• Proven track record in B2B field sales and new‑business generation.
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
• Professional demeanor and corporate appearance.
• Ability to perform basic financial analysis from accounts.
• Experience in consultative selling and presenting technical information.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
• Background in financial sales or servicing is highly desirable.
• Self‑starter with a competitive, assertive mindset.
