Business Development Manager - Fire Protection Services

About the role

The Business Development Manager will sell passive fire protection, fire‑stopping and fire‑door installation and maintenance services to end users across the UK. The role focuses on commercial, residential, education and leisure sectors and is based centrally to cover projects in the Midlands, the South and nationwide.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in fire protection services.
• Develop and maintain a project pipeline of approximately £2 million.
• Sell solutions to end users such as schools, hotels, universities and office blocks.
• Achieve turnover targets aligned with experience level.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal project teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.

Required profile

• Proven business development experience in the fire sector (passive fire, fire doors or cladding).
• Track record of selling directly to end users.
• Experience working on commercial or residential projects such as hotels, schools or offices.
• Good knowledge of fire protection industry standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Stable career background with strong attention to detail and organisational ability.

What we offer

• Base salary of £60,000 plus bonus, with OTE around £120,000.
