Business Development Manager – Fire & Security Sales

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales of fire alarm and security solutions across the UK. You will work flexibly from home or the Derby head‑office, building relationships with clients in retail, education, care homes and other sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and win new installation and service contracts for fire alarm, CCTV, access control, EAS and lone‑worker solutions.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects, delivering national or local sales targets.
• Collaborate with design, research and account‑management teams to create tailored technical proposals.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to grow recurring revenue.

Required profile

• Proven track record selling fire alarm or security systems (FIA, BAFE, NSI, SSAIB or NACOSS accredited).
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a hybrid/remote environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
