Business Development Manager – Fund Manager

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join a fast‑growing niche fund manager in London. You will play a pivotal part in driving sales growth, shaping capital strategies and representing the firm at investor‑focused events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute capital strategies that meet or exceed sales targets set by the Sales Director.
• Identify, engage and nurture relationships with retail investors and Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs).
• Represent the firm at investor meetings, roadshows, conferences and other networking events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and ongoing support.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory changes affecting the investment industry.
• Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline development and market insights to senior management.

Required profile

• 5+ years of proven sales experience, preferably within alternatives or traditional asset management.
• Strong understanding of investment products and financial markets.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
