Business Development Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing, well‑funded technology company that has built an innovative B2B platform for service‑based organisations. The Business Development Manager will drive growth across Scotland by prospecting new clients, building relationships and feeding a high‑quality pipeline to the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets and manage KPIs such as calls, emails and LinkedIn outreach.
• Identify and engage prospective clients through outbound channels including cold calling, email campaigns and social selling.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities against sales criteria.
• Expand prospect databases using CRM platforms and professional networks.
• Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to optimise lead generation strategies.
• Consistently meet or exceed lead‑generation and performance metrics.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in an outbound sales role, preferably within B2B SaaS.
• Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organised with excellent time‑management and attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑player with a strong drive to succeed.

• Salary £30,000 – £38,000 per annum plus uncapped commission.
