Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and manage strategic accounts within the hospitality sector across Kent. The role combines sales strategy, relationship building and contract negotiation to deliver measurable revenue for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to meet revenue, margin and market‑share targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with hotels, luxury resorts and other hospitality clients.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, acting as the primary commercial contact and trusted advisor.
• Forge and nurture senior‑level relationships with hotel owners, general managers, directors of sales and procurement teams.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close contracts that drive profitable growth.
• Maintain an active pipeline, forecast accurately and report sales performance to leadership.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations and product teams to tailor offers and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and client meetings.

Required profile

• Proven success in business development and account management within the hospitality sector.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with a track record of winning and retaining strategic hospitality clients.
• Experience negotiating commercial contracts and managing complex sales cycles.
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging at C‑suite level.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and manage a robust sales pipeline.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Kent and attend industry events.
