Business Development Manager

About the role

This permanent position is for a Business Development Manager in a dynamic property auction business serving the London market. You will work client‑facing to generate new business, secure property instructions and drive commercial growth through a modern online auction platform.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities from vendors, estate agents, developers, investors and other property professionals.
• Develop long‑term relationships with clients, providing expert guidance throughout the auction sales process.
• Conduct external meetings, networking events and property visits across London.
• Prepare tailored proposals, negotiate instructions and maximise listing opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor sales activity and produce performance reports against KPIs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver marketing strategies and achieve growth objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, property sales or estate agency.
• Strong understanding of the auction sector (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long‑term client relationships.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems for tracking sales activity.
