Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Business Development Manager to drive new B2B revenue across the UK for a leading premium foodservice and beverage business. The role is field‑based, requiring regular travel to meet prospects and build long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and win new B2B customers throughout the United Kingdom.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract signing.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and forecast accurately.
• Research market trends and uncover commercial growth opportunities.
• Develop and nurture lasting customer relationships with professionalism and credibility.

Required profile

• Proven success in B2B business development and new‑business sales.
• Experience in foodservice, coffee, hospitality or the broader food & beverage sector.
• Consistent track record of acquiring new customers.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide, with occasional international trips.

Required skills

What we offer

• £45,000 base salary plus OTE up to £50,000.
• Uncapped commission (2–3% paid quarterly) and a 4% accelerator for exceeding targets.
