Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join a fast‑growing consultancy that enhances leadership, employee engagement and organisational performance. The role is hybrid, based in Manchester, and offers flexible full‑time or part‑time arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and convert new business opportunities through inbound enquiries, referrals and proactive outreach.
• Build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders and decision‑makers.
• Leverage personal networks to generate introductions and uncover potential projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, presentations and customised solutions.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensure accurate forecasting and keep CRM data up to date.
• Represent the consultancy at networking events, client meetings and industry activities.

Required profile

• Proven track record in generating and winning new business.
• Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and establishing long‑term commercial relationships.
• Commercially driven, proactive and comfortable working autonomously.
• Strong networking, communication and relationship‑management abilities.
