Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to accelerate growth for a fast‑growing accounting and business advisory firm across the UK. The role is fully remote, allowing you to build relationships with SMEs and business owners while supporting the firm’s strategic expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and convert new business opportunities across accounting, advisory and financial services.
• Build and nurture relationships with SME owners and key decision‑makers.
• Develop referral networks and strategic partnerships.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to client onboarding.
• Attend networking events and client meetings as required.
• Collaborate with leadership to align with growth strategy and maintain a strong pipeline.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, sales or client acquisition.
• Background within finance, financial services, accounting, banking, lending, insurance or related professional services.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Commercially driven with a consultative sales approach.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
