Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to generate new opportunities for a global manufacturer of bespoke solutions. Based in Northwich with a hybrid working model, you will own the outbound sales process and help expand the customer base across the UK and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct cold‑calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach and networking to generate leads.
• Identify, qualify and build a pipeline of potential customers in various industries and markets.
• Arrange meetings and product demonstrations for prospects.
• Develop a deep understanding of the company’s technical products and solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate activity records in the CRM system.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging business opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong drive, resilience and passion for winning new business.
• Previous experience in business development, sales or lead generation.
• Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold‑calling.
• Self‑starter able to work independently and manage workload.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
• Ambitious, results‑driven and eager to build a long‑term career.
