Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new customer acquisition for FleetScout and AutoPad AVI across the fleet, transport and logistics sector. Working closely with a Solutions Engineer, you will own the full sales cycle from outreach to signed contract, delivering data‑backed ROI to prospects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and engage prospective customers in fleet operators, transport, logistics, vehicle rental and dealership groups.
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline using outbound prospecting, networking, referrals and inbound leads.
• Lead the complete sales process, collaborating with the Solutions Engineer to develop business cases and ROI models.
• Negotiate commercial terms, prepare proposals and manage tender responses.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, provide pipeline forecasts and ensure smooth handover to Customer Success.

Required profile

• Proven track record of exceeding new‑business sales targets in a B2B environment.
• Experience managing a full sales cycle with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to structure and negotiate complex deals.
• Self‑motivated, disciplined and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with standard sales tools.
