Business Development Manager – Legal Services (Bristol)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth for a leading legal services provider in Bristol. You will work directly with law firms across the UK, promoting specialist services and building a robust pipeline of new opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage decision‑makers in Private Client and other legal teams through warm and cold outreach.
• Book and deliver face‑to‑face presentations to showcase specialist legal services.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with partners, solicitors and other legal professionals.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact through to conversion, using your own pipeline.
• Represent the company at networking events, conferences and industry functions to raise brand awareness.

Required profile

• Energetic, confident and commercially minded individual with a passion for meeting people.
• Proven business development or sales experience, ideally within the legal sector.
• Existing network of legal contacts at regional or national level is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business through both warm and cold sales activity.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven mindset with resilience in a competitive environment.
