Business Development Manager – Telesales

About the role

Design & Build UK is a leading media brand serving the construction and built environment sector. We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive advertising, sponsorship and event sales across our print, digital and live platforms. The role is relationship‑focused, requiring you to build long‑term partnerships with contractors, suppliers, developers and other industry decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Sell advertising space across print and digital publications.
• Sell sponsorship packages for awards, networking events and industry initiatives.
• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of client accounts.
• Generate new business through outbound calls, email outreach, LinkedIn and networking.
• Build relationships with senior decision‑makers and directors.
• Collaborate with editorial and events teams to deliver successful campaigns.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and track commercial opportunities.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Represent the company at industry events.
