Business Development Representative

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing technology organisation to expand its SaaS offering across the UK. As a Business Development Representative you will generate new conversations, qualify leads and feed a steady pipeline of opportunities into the commercial team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective clients through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow‑up.
• Run multi‑channel outreach campaigns using phone, email, LinkedIn and digital tools.
• Nurture relationships with senior decision‑makers to build a robust sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to optimise campaign performance and lead conversion.
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in the CRM system.
• Provide market insights and customer feedback to support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Business Development, SDR, BDR or Demand Generation role within a B2B environment.
• Familiarity with HR technology, payroll, workforce management, HCM, ERP or other enterprise software solutions.
• Strong understanding of lead generation, prospect nurturing and multi‑touch engagement strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, target‑driven attitude with a genuine passion for business development.
