Business Development Representative

About the role

We are looking for a proactive business builder to become an expert in the global payments landscape. This role partners with Sales, using strategic outreach, AI‑driven insights, and deep technical research to open doors at prestigious brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep technical understanding of our product suite and global payment trends to act as a consultant to prospective merchants.
• Conduct in‑depth research and strategic account mapping to identify and engage high‑value strategic accounts.
• Lead high‑level discovery calls that uncover technical and business challenges for merchants.
• Maintain a high‑performing outreach rhythm and contribute to a high‑standard team environment.
• Partner closely with Sales to move deals through the funnel and support financial go‑lives.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Underwriting, and Product teams to accelerate the sales cycle.
• Leverage AI‑driven systems and advanced analytics to optimise lead generation, territory planning, and pipeline accuracy.
• Apply data‑backed qualification frameworks (e.g., MEDDIC) and keep Salesforce as the source of truth.

Required profile

• Proactive ownership with end‑to‑end accountability for territory and outcomes.

• Exceptional communication and presence, able to engage stakeholders from product leads to C‑suite executives.
