Business Development / Sales – Construction or Refurbishment Experience Essential

About the role

This is a relationship‑focused sales position within a premium residential and commercial decorating firm in London. You will generate new business, nurture long‑term client relationships and work closely with the leadership team to drive growth from enquiry to project completion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the construction and refurbishment market.
• Build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, estate agents and private clients.
• Manage inbound enquiries, convert leads into projects and prepare quotations and proposals.
• Maintain and update the CRM system and sales pipeline.
• Attend client meetings and site visits throughout London.
• Network to generate referrals and new opportunities.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure a seamless client journey.
• Develop repeat business and long‑term partnerships.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, business development or account management.
• Experience within construction, property, interiors, architecture, design‑build or home improvement is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Confident, professional approach when dealing with clients.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness with a proactive attitude.
• Desire to build a long‑term career in a growing business.
