Business Development Specialist – Global Finance & Restructuring

About the role
Join a leading US law firm’s London office as a Business Development Specialist supporting the Global Finance and Restructuring practice groups. You will work closely with the BD Manager and the wider BD & Communications team to drive client engagement and revenue growth.
Key responsibilities
- Support initiatives that strengthen client relationships and advance business plans.
- Partner with the Business Development Manager to deliver cross‑practice BD activities.
- Manage the Deal Tracking system for the Global Finance group.
- Maintain client coverage trackers for Finance, Restructuring and related teams.
- Coordinate and prepare RFP and pitch responses.
- Draft and manage BD materials such as brochures, presentations and experience records.
- Conduct market and client research to inform targeted pitches and attorney briefings.
- Organise client events and conference logistics in collaboration with the Events team.
Required profile
- Minimum three years of business development experience within a law firm.
- Strong academic background, preferably a bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with CRM systems (preferred).
