Business Development Specialist – M&A & Private Equity

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to support the M&A and Private Equity practices of a leading international law firm in London. You will work closely with senior partners and the broader BD team to drive growth initiatives and enhance the firm’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare pitches, proposals and client presentations.
• Support client targeting, cross‑selling and business development pipelines.
• Coordinate submissions for directories, awards and rankings.
• Conduct market, sector and competitor research.
• Assist with the planning and execution of events, webinars and profile‑raising activities.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of business development experience in a professional services environment, preferably a law firm.
• Exposure to M&A and/or Private Equity is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, high attention to detail and commercial awareness.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
